STACS is working to improve Computing Science (CS) education in Scotland. To do this, we need honest data from CS teachers about what is working and what isn’t. This survey is not about “looking good” - it’s about understanding the current state of CS provision in schools so we can make meaningful changes.
Your responses will help us identify key factors that contribute to a thriving CS curriculum in S1-S3, which is critical for long-term success. No individual data will be shared beyond your response, and the anonymity of you and your school is assured in the reporting process. There will be one response per school. This is about the provision of CS in the school - not about individual teachers.
The survey consists of two parts: factors outside and within the teacher’s control, followed by open-ended questions to capture your insights.
Thank you for your valuable input!
